Chema-Elektromet Cooperative is a private pharmaceutical company, operating in the market for over 50 years. Initially its main source of income was production and services of various profiles, pharmaceutical production constituted only a fraction of the Company activity. In the 1990s pharmaceutical production constituted already the basic activity of the Cooperative. It has been so until now.

The company possesses two factories; in one of them medicinal products are manufactured, in the other one – medical devices.

The strategic aim of the activity of Chema Elektromet Spółdzielnia Pracy is production of pharmaceuticals of the highest quality, satisfying specific therapeutic requirements, needs and expectations of both the patients and the medical environment. The company’s offer includes more than 80 different products, mainly for dentists and dermatologists.

Dermatological production consists mainly in antibiotic ointments with various active substances, having application in majority of skin diseases.

Dental products include mainly medical devices indispensable in every dentist’s office. We manufacture medical devices and medicinal products used in conservative dentistry, endodontia, maxillofacial surgery, dental prosthetics and preparations used in prophylactics and treatment of dental caries and paradentosis. Apart from that, we manufacture also many other auxiliary products facilitating work of every dentist and prosthodontist.

Growing competition in new generations of medicinal products and medical devices as well as huge progress made in physicians’ work result in extension of the list of the Cooperative’s products by a number of new products every year, in pursuit of new trends

As far as development of technologies and introduction of new products are concerned Chema cooperates with a number of academic and scientific centres in Poland, among others with Pomeranian Medical Academy in Szczecin, Medical Academy in Poznań, Silesian Medical Academy in Zabrze, Medical Academy in Wrocław, Celegium Medicum of Jagiellonian University in Cracow, AGH University of Science and Technology, Rzeszów  University of Technology and Ceramics and Glass Institute in Warsaw. 

In those centres new preparations are tested and examined in their physical, chemical and medical aspects. The cooperation results in high-quality materials gaining recognition in the market and among specialists.
